Eligibility and Age Restrictions (18+)
Access to the Polaris Research Base is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering an account or playing our games, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage to verify that minors are not accessing the platform. Any accounts found to belong to underage users will be immediately terminated.
Thermal Units Virtual Currency Rules
The virtual currency used on this platform is known as 'Thermal Units' (TU). TUs are provided for free through daily logins, Expedition Log milestones, and gameplay. TUs hold zero cash value and cannot be redeemed, traded, or exchanged for real-world currency, goods, or services under any circumstances. TUs are a fictional currency intended solely to facilitate gameplay within the Polaris simulation.
Prohibited Conduct
Users must engage with the platform respectfully and legally. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: using automated bots or scripts to manipulate gameplay or accumulate Thermal Units; attempting to hack, destabilize, or exploit the platform's code; sharing accounts; or engaging in abusive behavior towards support staff or other users. Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension and revocation of all virtual balances.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, design, graphics, text, and software associated with Polaris Portugal, including the lore of the Polaris Research Base and the mechanics of games like Cryo Core 3, are the exclusive intellectual property of Net Nomads co. Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal entertainment. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our assets is strictly prohibited.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. Net Nomads co. Ltd makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the continuous availability, accuracy, or reliability of the simulations. We do not guarantee that the platform will be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions. Your use of the service is at your own risk, and we are not liable for any loss of virtual currency due to technical malfunctions.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Net Nomads co. Ltd's registered jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
